New birds for the year in my walking commute

In this post I'm reporting my news for the year in my walks to work.On the 8th. I take the Chanterland avenue route and I am surprise when mobbing crows alert me of a Grey Heron (24) flying over the roofs. A Dunnock (25) and Jackdaws (26) are the only additions to the list.

On the 9th, on my walking commute I take a short detour by Pearson Park and add Canada Goose (27), Greenfinch (28), Coal Tit (29) and a singing Goldcrest (30)(top shot) on a garden by Queens Road.

On the 10th, my commute gives me a female Sparrowhawk (31) at Pearson Park.
Pair of Stock Doves on the dead poplar at the University.

The Pied Wagtail posed with the icy pond of Pearson Park behind.
